Pick the apps that eat your study time (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, games) and Lock In silences them for the length of your session. With whitelist mode you can flip it around: block everything except your notes app and a textbook PDF.
Lock In does not trap you. Unlocking early takes a deliberate hold, just enough friction to make you ask "do I really need this right now?" That pause is usually all it takes to stay on the textbook.
Lock in once a day and your streak grows. It turns "I should study" into a daily habit you do not want to break, which is exactly how good study routines form during a semester.
Start a group session before a library cram, or keep a friend streak going so neither of you flakes. Studying with accountability beats studying alone, even when you are apart.
